Ann Wampler, 85, of Desloge, passed away November 13, 2023, at The Arbors at Maplebrook in Farmington. She was born June 2, 1938, in Elvins, to the late Garrett and Leona (Reese) Poston. Ann worked at Leadco Credit Union as an accountant / office manager, before retiring. Her hobbies were yard work, singing in the church choir and tennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, David Lee Wampler and son, Douglas Wampler.
Ann is survived by son, Michael Wampler and wife Resa of Desloge; grandchildren, Jarred and Megan Wampler of Desloge, Kyle and Codi Wampler of Park Hills, Erin and Andy Files of Farmington, and Laura Gann of St. Charles; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Friday, November 17, 2023, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Curt Gwartney will be officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.

We’re so sad to hear of Ann’s passing, but we are so blessed in knowing that she is rejoicing in Heaven now! She was such a sweet lady and a true servant of Christ. We will see her again! Praying for Ann’s family and friends as they mourn and also celebrate her life.
Ann was a very sweet lady. She will be missed by many! Praying for Mike and the family. Thankful that we will see her again one day.
