Mrs. Anna Marie Parker, formerly of Farmington, passed away Wednesday morning, June 17, 2009, at her Sedalia, Missouri, residence, at the age of 80 years, 2 months & 4 days. Anna was born on April 13, 1929, in Flat River, Missouri, to John B. Mathews & Katherine Ellen 'Clark' Mathews. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Dow Eugene "Gene" Parker (Sept. 11, 1986); 1 Sister, Norma Ruth Hughes & 1 Brother, Franklin Mathews.
Anna was a former member of Farmington First Baptist Church and had been attending the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. Anna was a former Cook at the Franklin Elementary School in Farmington & had worked as a Dental Assistant.
Survivors Include : 1 Daughter, Ruth Anna 'Mrs. Marvin' Eaves, of Green Ridge, MO. 1 Son, Duane E. (& Marita) Parker, of Springfield, MO. Also surviving are 4 Granddaughters, 1 Grandson & 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday at 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., June 20, 2009
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL with Rev. Steven Thomas officiating.
Interment : Parkview Cemetery, Farmington.
Memorials may be made to : * The Gideons International &/or * The Lions Club Sight Programs.

Ruth Ann, I'm so sorry to read about your mother's passing. You probably don't remember me, but your mom and dad were very good friends of my parents. I have a photo of your parents taken when they were married. My parents and yours looked so happy (and young) in that photo. That's how I want to remember them.
