Mr. Arnold D. Hankins passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at the DesPeres Hospital, St. Louis at the age of 69 years, 9 months & 6 days. Arnold was born June 15, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Delmar & Eleanor 'Bateman' Hankins. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 Son, Robert Dean Hankins ; 1 Brother: Ronald Hankins; 1 Sister: Sharon Hankins & 1 Brother-In-Law: Norman McCrackin.
Arnold was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather & friend. Arnold was an active member of his church & loved helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family & friends & the countless lives he has touched. Arnold was an avid horseshoe player & he loved his ice cream & cookies.
Survivors Include: his wife: Bonnie J. 'Cook' Hankins; 2 Daughters: Sharon Kay Hankins; Tammy Lynn (Mrs. Michael Edward) Carlisle, all of Farmington. 2 Sisters: Barbara (Mrs. Bob) Wood & Beverly McCrackin, both of Liberty, MO. 2 Brothers: Claude (& Darlene) Hankins, of Marshall, MO. & Charles Hankins, of Liberty, MO. 2 Grandchildren: Jason Dean Dickey & Zacarey Alonzo Conway, both of Farmington.
Visitation: Friday, 5-8 pm. Visitation resumes Saturday, 7:00 a.m.,
Funeral: Saturday, 11:00 a.m., March 25, 2006
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. James Molter officiating.
Interment: Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart, MO.
In the short time I have known you, you somehow always made me smile. You were a loving,caring, funny man that will be missed by every life you have touched.
I love you so much. Growing up, you taught me so much about life and I thank you for everything you have given me because you are a huge reason why I am the man I am today. I love you papa and you will be missed dearly.
Now you can go everywhere you always wanted. I love you daddy.

Uncle Dean was a great person. He loved his family and he will be missed.

May god be with you all in this time of need. I will miss Arnold, I didn't know him very long but he always made me smile and was a great person to be around.
Bonnie and Family, May you find comfort in knowing that the Lord is with you during this time of missing your loved one. We have pleasant memories of our visits with you and Dean through the years.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Dean's passing but, I know it is a part of God's plan. He will be missed tremendously yet remembered in a big way. I will always remember the trips to the park, the zoo and the great BBQ's. He was the greatest male cook I know!
