Barbara Ann Marler

Barbara (Matthews) Marler, 78, of Park Hills, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 7, 1943, in Portageville, MO, to the late William and Fannie (Stafford) Matthews. Barb spent her life taking care of her family. She worked at Wal-Mart for 15 years and also helped her husband run their business, Marler’s Pump Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Wayne Marler, Sr.; sisters, Louise Harbart and Ossie Thompson; brother, Buddy Matthews.
Barb is survived by her husband, Sherman Sherril Marler, whom she married in March of 1961; son, Donald (Laura) Marler of Pacific; grandchildren, Ronnie Marler, Jr., Josh Marler, Emma Marler, and Lukas Marler; and great-grandson, Tatum Marler. She will be missed by all that knew her. There was only one Barb.
Visitation will be Saturday February 5, 2022 from 2 pm until time of the funeral service at 4 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
