Mrs. Barbara Anne 'Fadness' Hyler passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at her Farmington residence at age 78 years, 7 months and 19 days. She was born July 9, 1932, in Helena, MT., and was the daughter of Gullick Fadness & Emma Beatrice 'Hurd' Fadness.

Barb was a graduate of Princeton, MO., High School. After graduation, she worked as an assistant to Dr. Walter Sparks, a family practice doctor in Columbia, MO., while her husband, Charles Glenn Hyler, attended law school. She and Charles moved to Farmington after law school. She lived happily in Farmington where she raised their 3 daughters. After their daughters were grown, she obtained a real estate license and eventually built 3 apartment buildings with her husband. She managed the apartment buildings for 16+ years, finally selling them in 2002. She continuted to be very active and enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, bird watching, taking care of her pets, working in her yard, and visiting her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, after 38 years of marriage, and her only sibling, Anna Bess Hall. She was a member of DAR & Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors Include : 3 Daughters - Debra Anne 'Mrs. Howard' Hoehn, of Farmington; Denita Hyler 'Mrs. Allen' Bradley, of Knoxville, TN & Diana Irene 'Mrs. Jeff' Stuart, of Farmington. 7 Grandchildren: Joshua Hyler Hoehn; Dustin Adam Hoehn; Rebecca Bradley 'Mrs. Trevor' Green; Allison Elizabeth Bradley; Abram Allen Bradley, Jr., Christopher Allen Stuart & Katherine Anne Stuart. Also surviving is a nephew, Robert Lee (& Ann) Hall, and their daughter, Angelica Hall, of Albuquerque, NM.

Friday, 4-8 pm
Visitation resumes Saturday, 6:30 am

Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., March 5, 2011

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. David Webster officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.

Memorials: Farmington Pet Adoption Center &/or Am. Heart Assoc.
