Boots Finton, 86, of Bonne Terre went to be with the Lord October 6, 2010 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 12, 1924 in Bonne Terre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Joseph and Hester Iva (Mayo) Dodson; sisters, Louise Loewe and Mable Dodson; brother, Charles Dodson. Boots is survived by her children, Chris K. Finton and wife Sharon of FL and Teri L. (Mrs. Brad) Harris of Neosho, MO; grandchildren, Bradley Harris, Jaime Harris, Brent Harris, Julie Van Dorn, Kathryn Finton, Laura Finton; great-grandchildren, Brayden Drayke, Maliyah, Emma, Cale; sister, Ann Joplin of Bonne Terre; brother, Robert Lee Dodson of Bonne Terre; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friend, Susie Brewer. Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2010 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Gregory Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at the Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Judes.
