Charles Dennis Keown, age 66, of Desloge, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Friday, September 20, 1957, in Bonne Terre to the late George and Lois (Roney) Keown he was also preceded in death by a brother Mike Keown.

Charles was a member of the East Side Church of God in Leadwood. Charles worked at Flat River Glass Factory for 41 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.

Charles is survived by his wife Beverly (Scott) Keown; children, Adam Keown, Amber Filer and husband Michael; brother, Terry Keown and wife Theresa; half-sister, Jacquelin Dyer; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM with Reverend Mark Moss officiating. Memorials may be made to the family to help with services.
