Charles Ray MONTGOMERY, Sr.

February 25, 1940 ~ August 28, 2007

Mr. Charles R. Montgomery, Sr., passed away early Tuesday morning, August 28, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO at the age of 67 years, 6 months, & 23 days. Charles was born on February 25, 1940, in Farmington, and was the son of Forrest Montgomery and Ruth 'Mackley' Montgomery Coffey. Also preceding-in-death was 1 brother, John Edward 'Monty' Montgomery.

Charles retired from McMahon Ford and was a member of Teamsters Local #618.

Survivors Include: Shirley Montgomery, of St. Charles, MO; 6 Sons - Bob (& Betty) Wright, of Fredericktown; Charles Montgomery, Jr., of Bonne Terre; David (& Rebecca) Montgomery, of Farmington; Mike (& Jamie) Montgomery, of Bonne Terre; Casey Montgomery, of Atlanta, Georgia; Forrest (& Tina) Montgomery, of Bismarck. 2 Sisters: Alyce Martin, of Herculaneum & Sally Wamsley, of Branson, who passed away Wednesday August 29, 2007. Also surviving are 11 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday at 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, 11:00 a.m., August 31, 2007,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

Interment at : Parkview Cemetery, Farmington.
