Mr. Charles Snyder, of Doe Run, passed away Thursday evening, February 8, 2007, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis, at the age of 80 years, 1 month & 25 days. Mr. Snyder was born Dec. 13, 1926, in East St. Louis, IL., to Joseph Edward Snyder & Lucinda 'Henson' Snyder. Also preceded in death by 6 Brothers: Jodie, Ed, Walter, Will, Roy & Fred Snyder; 1 Sister: Ida Graham; a Daughter, Rhonda Deason & a Son-In-Law: Matthew Deason.

Charles was a retired City of Farmington Street Dept. Employee.

Survivors include: his Wife: Lorna Helen 'King' Snyder, of Doe Run; Daughters: Tammy Snyder, of Doe Run; Linda 'Mrs. Duke' Moser, of Fulton, MO; Sons: David (& Lisa) Snyder, of Doe Run & Blynn (& Nickie) King, of Farmington. Also, 9 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation : Sunday, 5 - 8 p.m., Visitation resumes Monday 7:00 a.m.

Funeral Services : Monday - 2 pm - Feb. 12, 2007

at: TAYLOR Funeral CHAPEL, with Rev. John Kee, officiating.

Interment: Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington

  3. I am your mail lady and your loved one – Charles – was always very friendly when he would meet me at the mail box and he would always tell me jokes – clean ones, of course!!! He will be missed.
