Clifton Duane “Dub” Wunning, age, 60, of Brandenburg, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his
home surrounded by his closest family on Thursday, August 24, 2023. He was born on Friday,
August 9, 1963, in Manhattan, Kansas to the late Clifton (Kick) Wunning and Lorelei {Jones} Wunning.

Duane owned and operated Exterior Excellence where he worked as a contractor “Beautifying America one house at a time”. He was a very loving father, grandfather, spouse, brother & nephew. He enjoyed birdwatching, arrowhead hunting, hiking, photography, dancing, singing, writing, collecting antiques, watching the sun set, stargazing and most of all being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He spent his evenings walking (the perimeter) with his faithful German Shepherd Sadie.

Dub is survived by his soulmate; Angelique Elaine Simpson; children, Ashley Michelle {Wunning} Schuck, Melinda Sue Wunning,Clifton Daniel Wunning, and Amanda Swiney; grandchildren, Gavin Wayne Duncan, Liam Paul Schuck, Annabelle Michelle Schuck and twin girls expected in late September; siblings, Becky Ruble, Kim Wunning, and Jill Dewolf; aunts, Diana Wunning and Wanda Jones; uncle, Luther (Lute) Wunning; his dearest friend Darrel Leach along with several nieces, nephews and other friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Roy and Della Dean Jones and paternal grandparents Lee and Sue Wunning; along with his Stepfather Verlin (Fergie) Summers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 11:00 AM until service time of 3:00
PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Burial to follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.

Reception to follow for family and friends at the VFW in Farmington after the Graveside service beginning at 6:00.
