Cynthia Irene Ratican

Cynthia Irene Ratican passed away early Friday afternoon, June 1, 2007, at The Parkland Health Center, South, in Farmington, at the age of 71 years, 7 months & 19 days. Cynthia was born on October 12, 1935, in Hickman, Kentucky, & was the daughter of Ed Palmer & Alice M. 'Covey' Palmer. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Harold J. Carlton; 1 Daughter, Sheilah Ann Akers; 1 Son, MIchael Lee Carlton, in-infancy; 3 Sisters & 4 Brothers.

Cynthia was a member of The Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: 2 Daughters - Peggy J. Carlton, of St. Louis; Sharon E. (Mrs. Michael) Beckett, of Farmington. 6 Grandchildren: Christine (Mrs. Bill) Boll; Jaimee Ebert and fiance' Eric Jeppesen; Sean Michael Akers; Chelsea Akers; Michael B. Beckett, II and fiance' Cori Lype; Christopher L. Beckett. Also, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Lydia J. Boll; Daphne Q. Boll & Reese Michelle Beckett.

Visitation: Monday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Tuesday @ 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., June 5, 2007,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Randall Parks officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.

  1. I knew Cyndi best through my job as delivery driver for USA Drug. I will miss our short visits, but I take comfort in the knowledge that she is resting in Christ and no longer suffering. I pray that God's peace will sustain Cyndi's family. You are in my prayers.
