The video tribute to him allowed us to view the special times of his life, and it is very evident how much he enjoyed and loved his family. Special memories like these and many others will help comfort you. He will still be present with you in your everyday lives, especially on holidays. He may not be seated at the table with you, but through the stories you tell about him, he'll be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Katherine and family, We would like to extend our words of comfort to you all at this time. They are not adequate enough to heal the pain of losing your loved one, however, we do have a heavenly Father who loves us all, more than anything, and can Heal and comfort us at a time like this. Katherine, we will never forget you two helping us with our cake at our wedding party and the fun we had that night. We thank you again, and for the times we sat together in church are too remembered. Tom made it clear to me about his closest friends and you two were included. God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform, and he will be with you to perform for you what you need. God is good and altho we don't understand everything in this life that comes our way, we will understand it bye and bye. Katherine, God bless you and your family and you are in our prayers and thoughts. We wish we could have been there to help comfort you, but just unable to. We will see you next time we are there. We had been thinking about Darrell and had planned to call. We are sorry to hear of his passing. We know that he is in a better place where there is no pain, and that you can see him again. Our prayers are with you, and my God bless each of you.
Precious Sister, I thank God for all the years God gave you and Darrell. Darrell was more than just my brother-in-law, he was also my friend. We became closer when he started taking me to work. I loved how he would greet me with "Hi, Lady" as I got into the truck. The last time he brought me home he waited as I opened the door, I turned and blew him a kiss and he blew a kiss back to me. I'll always remember that special day.
