Dave Cook, 70, of Bonne Terre, passed away August 17, 2021, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.  He was born July 23, 1951, in Bonne Terre, to the late Samuel Leon and Erma Orene (Bannister) Cook.  Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the St. Louis Carpenters Union and worked in construction for over 35 years.  He loved the Lord and his family.  Dave was a powerful prayer warrior and avid gardener.

          He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Laura (Maynard) Cook; children, Samuel Wade Cook, Cathy Lyn Cook, Chris Baron and husband Alex; four grandchildren, Wade and Zane Cook, Sebastian and Maxwell Baron.

          Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM, until service time at 12:00 PM.  Reverend Alan David will be officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Bonne Terre.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the establishment of a scholarship fund for Dave’s grandsons.  Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
