David Scott Lilley, age 59, of Troy, MO, formerly of Farmington, MO, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. He was born on Friday, October 26, 1962, in Farmington to the late Albert Donald Lilley, Sr. and June Marilyn (Bentley) Lilley.
David was the best salesman and enjoyed the challenge of getting a customer through the door and into a new car. He was also very talented in refurbishing cars, painting them and could fix or build just about anything. He loved his Harley and spent Sunday afternoons riding country roads. His smile, wicked sense of humor and love of his family will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Donald Lilley, Sr. and June Marilyn (Bentley) Lilley.
He is survived by his children, Ryan Harmon (Sarah), Lauren Wall and Conner Watkins; grandchildren, Caysen West and Kaislee Helms; siblings, Don Lilley, Jr, (Jymie), Stephen Lilley (Tina), Susan (Lilley) Murray; nieces and nephews, Brad Lilley, Lindsay Murray, Ethan Murray, Madison Miller, Tanner Graham, and Colten Lilley; and many friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
Although I had never met David, the Lilley family is a very special family to me. As I read David's obituary, I could tell that he was a multi-talented young man and saw that his smile could light up a room. To all of the Lilley family; especially, to Jymie and Tina, I am sending lots of love, hugs, and prayers during this difficult time.
Steve and Tina, sorry for you loss. And we pray for you and your family.
To my friend Steve and all the Lilley family. I am very sorry to hear of this loss. I only new Dave as Steve's little brother. My condolences to the entire Lilley family.
