Donald Melvin Rickard Sr, age 86, of Fredericktown, passed away August 8, 2011 at his residence.He was born March 29, 1925 in Leadwood, Missouri.He was preceded by his parents, Dillard Andrew and Margie Stella (Semar) Rickard; first wife, Agnes Marie (Petty) Rickard; second wife, Mae Josephine (Schroeder) Rickard; son, Donald M. Rickard, Jr.; five brothers, Velva, John, Milford, Rolla, and Donald A. Rickard; four sisters, Ila Warneke, Jetta McKenney, Edna Serini, Neoma Humphrey.Donald is survived by his daughter, Paula Harris of Oklahoma; stepson, Richard Domzalski and wife Kathy of Belleville, IL; step-daughter, Terry of Florissant; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.Visitation is 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.Service is 11:00 AM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Barbara Stark officiating.Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery with Military Honors.
