Dorothy ‘Counts’ HUBBARD

Mrs. Dorothy 'Counts' Hubbard passed away at her Farmington residence June 10, 2002, at the age of 86 years & 29 days. She was born May 11, 1916, in Flat River, MO., to Homer & Martha 'McDaniel' Counts. Also preceding: her husband, William Thomas Hubbard (May 4, 1998); 1 Son, William Raymond Hubbard (July 30, 1963); 3 Sisters: Blanche Westover; Martha Louise Jones & 1 Brother, Charles Counts. Dorothy was a member of Farmington First United Baptist Church. Visitation Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., resuming Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. & funeral Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington. Interment following at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Farmington. Memorials to: The Diabetes Association.

Ms. Hubbard was my grandma's neighbor (Hilda Wright , was my grandmother who passed away a little over a year ago). I remember seeing Ms. Hubbard when she came over & visited with my grandmother & we ejoyed talking to her & haveing her over when we had my grandmothers birthday parties the past 2 years before she died. My grandma enjoyed haveing her & Jerry, the other neighbor who lives in the green house by the bowling alley, as friends. Ms. Hubbard shared her news papers with my grandma. I like cats..but can't have any & I seen how much she loved her cats. She is in Heaven now, back to being my grandma's neighbor! Dana Wampler (Hilda Wrights granddaughter)
