Miss Dorothy Detring, of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Farmington, passed away early Saturday evening, December 10, 2005, at the Lutheran Hospital in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 78 years, 4 months & 16 days. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Henry C. Detring (dec'd June 11, 1977) & the late Ethel Rosa 'Lee' Detring (dec'd jan. 27, 1985). Dorothy was born on July 24, 1927, in Libertyville, MO.
Survivors Include: 1 Sister: Katherine 'Mrs. Bedford' Knipschild, of Marshall, MO; 2 Brothers: Walter (& Jessie) Detring, of Farmington; Stanley (& Gail) Detring, of Morganfield, KY. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation: starts Saturday, 12 Noon
Memorial Service: Saturday - 1:00 p.m., December 17, 2005
at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Ronnie Graham officiating.
Interment: Libertyville Methodist Cemetery.

We will not be able to attend visitation or services, but do want to express our deepest sympathy to the family. Dorothy was a great friend to our family!
Aunt Dorothy Detring will be deeply missed. I remember her cheerful personality. She was the "messager" for our Detring family. She would travel and visit kinfolk and then update us on the relatives that we haven't seen in decades. We would all keep in touch through Aunt Dorothy's visits. When the girls were small, she would bring each one a gift. We will miss Aunt Dorothy caring nature and the news of distant family she shared.
