          Dorothy Giebler, 74, of Desloge, passed away September 20, 2021, at her home.  She was born March 23, 1947, to the late Emmett Lee and Sophia (Clinton) Crocker.  Dorothy was a 22-year member, of the Parkview Free Will Baptist Church in Desloge.  She was very involved with her church and loved listening to music, dancing and singing at church.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter in infancy, LaDonna Crocker; siblings, Imogene Elser and Davey Crocker.

          Dorothy is survived by daughter, Angel McCarty and husband Eric; grandchildren, Dustin Taylor Stacy, Heaven Barton and Eric McCarty; siblings, Shirley McDowell, Fern Kennedy, and Ricky Crocker; several nieces and nephews also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, September 24, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.  Pastor Michael Barton will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck. 

C.Z. Boyer and Son strongly recommends the use of masks or facial coverings during the entire visit.

    I am  so sorry to hear of her passing. I knew Dorothy because I cleaned and visited her thru Pyramid home health, I will miss her and I will think of her. Praying for your family,
