Dr. Robert Lee Gibson

Dr. Robert Lee Gibson passed away late Friday night, May 13, 2011, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 88 years, 8 months & 6 days. Robert Gibson was born September 7, 1922, in Pontiac, IL., & was the son of Roy & Edith 'Rolandaly' Gibson. Also preceding-in-death were: a Step-Son, Ricky Fox and a brother, Donald Gibson.

Robert operated a Chiropractic Office in Potosi & Park Hills for several years. He was a past member of the Potosi Masonic Lodge and member of Crestview Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a Merchant Marine, Coast Guard & US Navy Veteran of World War II.

Survivors Include : his wife, Elnora 'Dewey' Fox Gibson, of Farmington. Two daughters-In-Law: Judy Fox, of Farmington, and Beverly (& Duke) Reynolds, of DeSoto, MO. Step-Son, Randy Fox, of CA; 2 Sisters: Melba Nance & Gloria Strickland, both of Desloge. 4 Grandchildren: Rachel (& Scott) Jue; Brad Fox; Cara (& Jason) Sims; Jessica Fox (& Brandon Pope). 7 Great-Grandchildren: Sinjin & Ronin Jue; Taye & Ashley Fox; Ayden & Ella Sims; McKenzie Marshall. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation starts Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 3:00 p.m., May 17, 2011,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Jacob Pollard officiating.

Interment : Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County, MO. (at a later date)
