Born in: Washington County, Missouri
Resided in: Bonne Terre, Missouri

Mary Eileen Finley of Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed away July 13, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Washington County, Missouri on July 1, 1945, daughter of the late Chad and Mary Ellen (Dearing) Aubuchon.

Mary Eileen (Neen) to her family was a woman of deep faith with an enduring nature who possessed an unconditional love for her family. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre, Missouri. After graduation from high school, she attended business school in St. Louis. She was employed at Thurman Shinn & Company for several years. She also was a bookkeeper for St. Joseph Catholic Church and other parish churches in the archdiocese. She loved traveling with family. Vacations were spent fishing if she had the opportunity. And would not miss a Thursday night Margarita Ladies outing. She never entered a casnio she didn’t like.

Eileen was a lover of all animals, especially her beloved Great Danes and cats. She volunteered endlessly and served as a member on the St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Council

She is survived by three sons; Bill (Cathy) Finley, Don (Stacey) Finley and David (Ashley) Finley; nine grandchildren; Hollie (Tyler) Smith, Joe Finley, Alex Finley, Tyler Finley, Samantha Finley, and Matt Finley; Jason (Becky) Brown, Amanda (Brent) Jones and Barry Huber; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; siblings Jim Aubuchon, Glenda Arnold and Dennis Aubuchon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Finley, her twin Elaine Aubuchon, brothers Frank, Leon, and Kenny Aubuchon; sisters Joan Young, Doris Boyer, Jean Coleman, and Margaret Wheeler.

A special thank you to Eileen’s friend and neighbor, Buena House, for her unending support to her and family over the years and during this difficult time. Also, a big thank you to her neighbors who so graciously offered their help and support.

  7. Candle 2David, Billy, Donny– I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to attend your mom’s services. I’ve been thinking of all of you this whole time. I’m glad she’s reunited with Hollis (and a ton of your family pets, all of whom are ecstatic to see her!), but I just hate to think of that house without a Finley in it. It’s been one of those constants since we were kids– that’s where the Finleys live. Hard hugs for all of you. God bless you all and give you peace, you good men.

  8. Candle 5My prayers to the family I met you through my ex husband ray he was one of your foster children you were such a wonderful lady you will be missed dearly ❤️❤️❤️
