Mrs. Esther Ida Johnson passed away April 6, 2004, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 92 years, 2 months & 17 days. She was born Jan. 19, 1912, in Huzzah, MO., to William Slowensky & Anna 'Slovensky' Slowensky. Also preceding was 1 Brother, Raymond Slowensky. Esther was a member of the New Offenburg First Baptist Church. She & Noel celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in July 2003. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her Husband, Noel C. Johnson, of Farmington; 4 Children: Anna 'Mrs. Glenn' Branson, Farmington; Margaret 'Mrs. Clifford' Heil, Cobden, IL; Larry (& Jane) Johnson, Farmington; Nancy 'Mrs. David' Stroud, Farmington. 3 Sisters-In-Law: Mavis Slowensky, Huzzah; Mildred Gahr, Steelville & Audrey Gibbs, Catawissa, MO. Brother-In-Law: John Johnson, St. Louis. 8 Grandchildren: Glenda & Steve Pulley; Alan & Dana Branson; Marva & Dennis Watson; Malina & Kevin Bonifield; Tom & Nancy Heil; Todd & Kimberly Johnson; Susan Stroud & fiance' Johnny David; Matt Stroud. 14 Great-Grandchildren: Amanda & Lauren Pulley; A.J. & Noah Branson; Daniel, Maribeth, Melissa & Rachel Watson; Jessica & Jennifer Bonifield; Taylor & Seth Heil; Audrey & Savanna Johnson. Visitation, Friday, 4-9 pm, resuming Saturday at 7 am & funeral Saturday, 11 am, April 10, 2004, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Rev. Stan Brown officiating.
