Everett Francis passed away Oct. 8, 2007, at Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis Co., at the age of 84 years, 2 months & 9 days. Everett was born July 29, 1923, in Herculaneum, MO., & was the son of Fred & Maybell (Rowden) Francis. Also preceding: his wife of 49 years, Wilma Lorene Trogdon; 2 Sisters: Hilma (Cook) Broombaugh and Naomi Lucas & 2 Brothers: Harry & Roy Francis.

Everett was a US Coast Guard Veteran of WW II, with No. Atlantic and Bermuda tours of duty. Everett was a member of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, Farmington. Everett was a Farmington businessman as co-owner of Trogdon Construction Co. & Trogdon Ready Mix for 40+ years. The businesses provided most new state and county road construction; assistance to local farmers; builders and commercial business development. Everett was a member of Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765 for 56 years. Everett was an avid supporter of Khoury League and Boy Scouts.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Jennifer 'Mrs. Mark' Stone, of Farmington. Nancy Quinn, of Punta Gorda, Florida. 1 Son: Jerry (& Janiece) Francis, of Jacksonville, Florida. 2 Sisters: Helen Burlage and Mitzie 'Mrs. Ralph' Charleville. 2 Grandchildren: Christopher (& Carrie) Francis, of Jacksonville, Florida & Kevin Francis, of Grants Pass, Oregon. Everett was also a devoted friend to Martha Eastman.

Visitation : Thursday, 5-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday at 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, 10:30 a.m., Oct. 12, 2007,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Brother David Parmley officiating. A eulogy will be delivered by Mark Stone.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
