Eyvonne Halbert

Eyvonne Kay Halbert, who loved to be called “Mom” by her kids and “Nan” by her grandkids, departed her loving family on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the age of 57.  Eyvonne was born in Farmington on October 23, 1965, to Eddie D. and Judith “Kaye” (McIntyre) Willis. Eyvonne was preceded in death by her wonderful mother, Judith “Kaye” Willis and her amazing sister, Brenda Lee.

Eyvonne graduated from Bismarck High school in 1985. She then married her high school sweetheart Timmy in 1986. Together they had two wonderful children, TJ, and Makayla Halbert. Eyvonne, was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Eyvonne’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend.

She worked as a production clerk for 32 years at the Park Hills Glass Factory. Eyvonne was known for her dedication and work ethic. She loved spending her time hunting, fishing, camping, devoting her time making memories with her family and making her famous chicken n dumplings for all of us to enjoy. She was most proud of her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Tim Halbert, Sr.; father, Eddie Willis; son, TJ Halbert, Jr., and significant other Candi Welker; daughter, Makayla Halbert; grandchildren, Tim III, Ayden, and Asher; sister, Darla Carey and husband Eddie; adopted sister, Athena Willis along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 5:00 PM until service time of 7:00 PM.
