Mr. Frederick J. Reuter passed away early Monday afternoon, Feb. 3, 2003, at his Farmington residence, at the age of 88 years, 4 months & 12 days. He was born Sept. 21, 1914, in Flat River, Mo., to Frederick William August Reuter & Emma Georgina 'Trauernicht' Reuter. Also preceding in death was Fred's first wife, C. Myrtle (nee Chilton) Reuter (Oct. 1974). Fred was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Park Hills & former Owner/Distributor of Reuter Distributing Company, Flat River. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: his WIFE, Loyse F. A. 'Carty' Reuter, of Farmington; 2 SISTERS: Marie Wilder & Minnetta Hellman, both of Issaquah, Washington. 1 DAUGHTER: Ruth Ann 'Mrs. Daniel' Houser, of Arnold, MO; 1 STEP-DAUGHTER: Delaine 'Mrs. Kenneth' Schlemeier, of Farmington; 2 STEP-SONS: Donald G. (& Sandra) Forinash, of Brighton, TN; Bill R. (& Joan) Forinash, of Hampton Beach, VA. Also, 3 GRANDCHILDREN; 8 STEP-GRANDCHILDREN; 2 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN & 1 STEP GREAT-GRANDCHILD. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., resuming Thursday, 7-9 am & funeral Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Park Hills, with Pastor Craig Donofrio officiating. Interment following at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials may be made to: The Trinity Lutheran Church of Park Hills &/or St. Paul's Lutheran School in Farmington.
Fred was the only grandfather that I had in life and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his widow Loyse and other family members.
