George R. GEDGE

June 6, 1927 ~ September 3, 2011

Mr. George Reginald Gedge, of Farmington, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 3, 2011, at Presbyterian Manor, Farmington, at the age of 84 years, 2 months & 27 days. George was born June 6, 1927, in Fredericktown, Mo., & was the son of the late Harry Reginald Gedge and Babe 'Greenwood' Gedge Blackwell. George was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Mae 'Tinnin' Gedge (May 5, 2009).

George was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II; he managed Superior Loan Co. for many years; retiring as a Finance Officer from LeadCo Credit Union. George was a member of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896; LePere-McCallister American Post #416; and Elks Lodge #1765, all of Farmington.

Survivors Include: 3 daughters - Beverly McGuire, of Seminole, FL; Melanie 'Mrs. Richard' Bingenheimer, of Maumelle, AR & Kimberly Davis, of Desloge. 1 brother, Ronald (& Mary Ann) Gedge, of Noblesville, IN. 7 Grandchildren: Christie Bingenheimer; Jennifer Agster; Jeff Bingenheimer; Kelly Wintrich; Jason Forsythe; Meagan Wells & Lindsey Forsythe. 7 Great-Grandchildren: Abby Bingenheimer; Maverick Wells; Jack Bingenheimer; Mazy Wells; Carter Baldwin; Ryan Bingenheimer & Ryane Agster.


Visitation : Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Thursday @ 6:30 am..
Funeral : Thursday, 10:00 a.m., September 8, 2011
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Jay Lacey officiating.
Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
