Mr. Harry John Friesema, wonderful husband and father, passed away suddenly, July 6, 2005, at his home in Farmington. He was survived by his WIFE: Beverly, Two DAUGHTERS: Carrie Prater & Jenny Friesema. A Son-In-Law: Jamie Prater. The sparkle in his eyes were caused by - Corinne; Liam; Maile & Halen, his 4 GRANDCHILDREN. His devoted family are: Jerry & Wilma Friesema, his parents. His deceased Mother, Jenny Friesema. His BROTHERS & SISTERS & their spouses are: Bill & Gail Friesema; Larry & Marianne Tanis; Dave & Corna VanEnk; Jerry (now deceased) & Pam Friesema; Avery & Jan Porter and Michael & Wilma Oneill; Bruce & Angie Messman; Doug & Judy Messman. Many Nieces & Nephews and Grand-Nieces & Grand-Nephews. Father & Mother-In-Law: Marion & Joanne Bickett; Brothers & Sisters-In-Law are: Dale & Paula Hackbarth; Bruce & Louanne (now deceased) Bickett; Dale Bickett; Dale & Donna Bickett; Brian & Lisa Bickett and many Nephews & Nieces. His wonderful Church Families are: Church of God at Doe Run and Madison Square Christian Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Harry was a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a husband and he did the jobs well !

Visitation: Friday, 6-9 pm. Visitation resumes Saturday, 7:00 a.m.,

Funeral: Saturday, 1:00 p.m., July 9, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Gary C. Hall officiating.

Michigan Arrangements: Visitation, Wed, July 13th 11 am -to- 12 Noon. Funeral: Wed, 1-2 pm @ Madison Square Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with Pastor David Beelen officiating.

  4. What a shock this must have been for you today. I am the Lean Coord. at SR's Bowling Green plant and will always remember your husband as being ingenious and kind. His positive outlook on life was always uplifting in our Lean Meetings and he was a true leader for those of us at Siegel. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. My sincere sympathies go out to you and your family in this time of sorrow. May you be blessed with support during this time.

  8. As the training coordinator at Farmington, I got to spend a lot of road trips to Tennessee with Harry. Not only did I get to know his sense of humor, but I got to hear a man who loved his family and church. I found Harry to be a great guy to talk to and a wonderful source of help and inspiration at work. I simply cannot comprehend our lose at this time, and certainly think of you and your family often.

  9. Harry was great to work with; he always made me laugh. I can say that I never saw Harry upset or discouraged, his outlook was always positive. My prayers are with you all at this time…"GOD Bless".

  10. Bev, It has been a pleasure to have worked with Harry and an honor to have met you both. Harry loved you and his family, and spoke fondly of you and the grandchildren.   11. Harry always was optimistic and friendly, always laughing. He was also good at his job and liked to help others. It was a real pleasure working with him, and things won't be the same without him.

  17. I have had the pleasure of spending many hours with Harry while at Siegel-Robert. I held him in high esteem for his support and talents as we collaborated on my projects. I will miss his personality and presence.

  24. To the Family of Harry Please accept my deepest condolences. I am truly sorry for your loss. I just watched the video tribute and it was a wonderful tribute to Harry. The pictures brought back many fond memories of Harry. The pictures captured a couple of things I remember and loved about Harry. His sense of humor and love of life. It seemed he always was launching and smiling that ornery grin like the cat that ate the canary. He will be truly missed Sincerely Mike Lewis

  25. I knew Harry and his siblings when we attended the same school (Oakdale Chr) and church (1st Chr Ref of Grand Rapids Mi) in the late 1950's &1960's. I remember him as a good guy, a gentleman if you will, and of a good family… Sorry to hear of his passing…
