Helen (Pruitt) Harris, 85, of Bonne Terre passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. Helen was born Tuesday, August 10, 1937, in Bless, MO, to the late William “Bill” and Cletus Bell (Cain) Pruitt.

Helen was a member of Happy Grove Church of God in Bonne Terre. She was an avid quilt maker and enjoyed making and giving them to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Helen especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She loved gardening and canning the fruits of her labor.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two sons, Steven and Delano Harris; three brothers, Ralph, Lloyd, and Virgil Pruitt; one sister, May Johnson.

Helen is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bobby “Bob” Harris; children, Ken Harris (& wife, Sheila), Don Harris (& wife, Sirle), Ron Harris (& wife, Leanne), Tamtha Sutton; twelve grandchildren, Shelly Harris, Ken Harris, Jr. (& wife, Susan), Ron Nash (& wife, Shara), Jody Nash, Kim Keltz (& husband, Mark), Josh Harris (& wife, Natalie), Jessica Busenbark (& husband, Trent), Ben Harris (& wife, Claudia), Alex Harris (& wife, Marissa), Jake Harris, Dustin Parker, and Nick Momont; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Johnson, Keith Pruitt, and Joyce Sansoucie.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Friday, March 31, 2023, from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Floyd Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Blackwell. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
