Jerry "Chip" Barton, age 61, of Frankclay, Missouri passed away January 20, 2011 at his residence.He was born February 21, 1949 in Bonne Terre, Missouri.Jerry was the founder of Clean Stream Group 3550; former president of Big River Water Shed Group; a member of Leadwood First Church of God; past member of Leadwood Fire Department and member of the Leadwood Fire Protection District Board; a member of the American Legion and served in the U. S. Army. Jerry is preceded by his parents, Cletus and Ruby (Talley) Barton.He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Ruby) Barton of Frankclay; daughter, Michele (Mrs. Stan Middleton); son, Jeff Barton; two grandchildren, Brittany and Brayden Middleton; two brothers, James Barton and wife Terry, William Barton and wife Louise; sister, Yvonne (Mrs. Bill Clay); numerous relatives and friends also survive.Visitation will be 5:00 PM Friday (January 21, 2011) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services are 1:00 PM Saturday (January 22, 2011) at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Kendall Hughes officiating.
