Jim Thompson, Sr.

December 20, 1966 ~ January 10, 2022

         James Thompson, 55, of Park Hills, passed away January 10, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.  He was born December 20, 1966, in Potosi, to James L. Thompson. and Betty (Pashia) Graves.  James was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren.

          He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Thompson; and grandson, Ryker Thompson.

          James is survived by his wife of 35 years and high school sweetheart, Kemberly (LaChance) Thompson; mother, Betty Graves; children, Sarah Jackson, James (Tiffany) Thompson, and Magan Thompson; grandchildren, Kaden, Ty, Alyssa and Braylan; siblings, Michelle (Michael) Kelley and Richard Thompson. 

          A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills.

  1. I didn't know Jimmy that well but I knew he made Kemberly happy. I seen him a few times and he was always polite and nice to me. He will be greatly loved and missed I feel for his wife and kids and grandchildren I will keep you all in my prayers always. Need to talk or anything just know I'm hear to listen

  6. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and his many friends. I worked with Jimmy for several years. He was an amazing man and an incredible friend. I'm blessed to have known him.
