Joan E. Mcwilliams

Joan Elizabeth McWilliams, 83, of Desloge, passed away September 18, 2022, at Cedarhurst Senior Living, in Farmington.  She was born July 1, 1939, in Patton, to the late Jack and Minnie Henson.  Joan was a member of First Church of God in Desloge. She was an avid Cardinal fan and Indiana Pacer fan. She loved quilting, knitting, and cooking big meals for her family. Joan enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Ray McWilliams; brother, John Henson; sister, Joyce Henson; and son-in-law, Michael McClellan.

          Joan is survived by her daughters, Melanie McClellan (Rich Knox), Jonna (Rod) Crabdree, Kristie (Brad) Wright; grandchildren, Coby (Heather) McWilliams, Jordon (Ashley) McWilliams, Tyler (Kelly) Propst, Braydon Wright, Jesse (Kelsey) Wright, Austin McClellan; great-grandchildren, Riley, Lane, Chase, Landon, Logan, Jace McWilliams, Abi Jones, Parker Propst, and Harrison Wright; special sister-in-law, Shirley McWilliams.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, September 23, 2022, from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.  Pastor Rick Chilton will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Park Hills.  Memorials may be directed, in honor of Joan’s memory, to Serenity Hospice.
