JoAnn F. LORE

December 23, 1941 ~ May 13, 2006

Ms. JoAnn Francis Lore, of Irondale, originally of Weingarten, MO., went to sleep for the last time on Earth on May 13, 2006, to awake at home with her parents, the late John & Hazel (Hardy) Lore, in Heaven.

JoAnn was born Dec. 23, 1941, at her family home in Weingarten. She was a retiree of the Missouri Mental & Correctional Systems, where she worked as an LPN. JoAnn was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin & friend.

She was married to the late Ervin (Sonny) Meyer, with whom she had 2 sons: Ken (& Sheri) Meyer, of Sherwood, AR and Tom (& Dianna) Meyer, of Coffman, MO. She was later married to Wendell "Wink" Rickus and had 2 more children: Ann (Mrs. Todd) Carlyon, of Irondale, MO. and Rick (& Sarah) Rickus, of Farmington. She was also the extremely proud Grandmother of 10 Grandchildren: Christopher & Bradley Meyer, of Sherwood, AR; Amanda Meyer, of Columbia, MO; Ashley Meyer, of Coffman; MO; Alyssa Carlyon, of Farmington; Racheal & Caleb Carlyon, of Irondale; Victoria & Allison Rickus, of Farmington; and Cody Smith, of Annapolis, MO.

JoAnn was the youngest of 8 children: Hilda (the late Lawrence) Graham, of Corning, CA; Gloria (Mrs. Troy) Kennedy, of Farmington; Bob "Dale" (& Penny) Barnes, of Naperville, IL; Betty (the late Andy) Couch, of Sherwood, AR; Janet (the late Harold "Tubby") Owens, of Farmington; Joan (& Jim) Lane, of Farmington; and her twin, Judy Meyer, of Ste. Genevieve, MO. She will also be sadly missed by several Special Nieces; Nephews; Cousins & friends with whom she shared many memories.

Visitation: Tuesday, 5-9 pm. Visitation resumes, Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.

Funeral: Wednesday, 10 am, May 17, 2006,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Austin Giffin officiating.

Interment: Genevieve Baptist Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County, MO.

Memorials: St. Louis Children's Hospital, in honor of Allison Rickus.

Ken, I am Deeply saden by your loss but I know that yuor MOTHER raised a GREAT young man in you and even though we joke and kid around alot it makes things alot easier alot of times when we can not talk about what we really want to talk about.   5. There is never an easy time to lose your Mother, in her memory stay close to each other, love each other and tell your children wonderful stories and share memories of her often. I will always have fond memories also of Aunt Jo Ann, and the two little freckled faces boys that she brought into this family. Your cousin Cindy
