  4. Candle 2Joyce was mine moms friend for over 30 years. We met her and Linda in Nashville Tn at Fan Fair. We enjoyed every year getting to visit, we live in Alabama so this was a yearly event for us. But, they wrote letters all the time to each other. I couldn’t wait to here the letter that Joyce wrote to us. She was there when I had cancer and the birth of my child and so many thinks that involved my family. Her letters were just has she was there in person. When my mom die 3 years ago she would call and check on me. I found a letter that my mom had not finished so I did and sent to her. I wrote to her for a while and then just talked on phone or facebook. She share of the the great kids and grandkids and great grandkid for us to see. So she will be missed and I love you Joyce. I talk to her last week and she said she was ready and was excited to see Barb that is what she called my mom. I know mom was so glad to see her. I am praying for the family daily cause a loss of such a special person is so hard.

  5. Candle 8Joyce and I became good friends over the decades even though I am in California. She was very much like family to me! I so enjoyed hearing what all the kids were up to and watching her great grandson as he was growing up. I regret not coming to visit sooner, hindered by that darn Covid virus these last few years, waiting for the pandemic to truly be over. I will miss her greatly as will her family. Truly a special person, we are all so very lucky to have had her in our lives… as heart breaking as this is. Missing you, Joyce, love you! See you on the “other side”.
