June McCord , age 81 of Desloge passed away Dec 27, 2010 at her residence. SheWas born March 15. 1929 at Doe Run, Mo a daughter of the late William "Scott"Oscar Goad and Augusta Hibbitts Goad. She was also preceded in death by herHusband, Charles McCord. 5 Sisters Evelyn Hopkins, Mildred Coker, Shirley Snider, and Yvonne Tucker, Marilyn Grisham; 3 Brothers, Felix, John and Edgar Goad June was very active in the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre. June served as Church Secretary for many years, she was active in the Church Choir and taught bible school. June is survived by Brothers, Jerry and wife Barbara Goad of Ca., Myron and wife Dorothy Goad of OK.; Sisters, Frances (Mrs. Garry Dalton) of Leadington, Barbara (Mrs. Marvin Swaringim) of Texas, Kathy (Mrs. Larry Swaringim) of Texas. Nephew Steven and wife Nancy Kinsey and Several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 5 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Thursday December 30, 2010 at 9 am at the First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre with the service at 11 am with Rev. Jim Jenkins and Rev. Ron Poole officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre.
