  17. Dear Dent Family, We wanted to express our deepest sympathies to all of you. We met Dr. George and Kay Den in 1975 when we were married and expecting our first child. He was my wonderful, kind OB/GYN and delivered both of our children in 1975 and 1977. We met Kay through him, of course, and were all active in the Marriage encounter program through St. Joseph's and Ste. Marie du Lac Catholic Churches. Both your parents were fun and wonderful people, certainly good Christians and we were very proud to have known them. Both of their losses have saddened us. May God Bless each and every one of you. Mike & Cindy DeMand

  18. Dent Family,I am very sorry for your loss. Kay was a lovely person and I know you'll treasure your memories. Know that you are in my prayers.

  19. While piloting my plane several years ago I contracted Bell's Palsy. I returned to Farmington ASAP. My wife remembered Kay's having Bell's Palsy & sought out Kay for advice. Nevermind that it was a Saturday, Kay came over & literally "took charge" of the situation, advising I "immediately" needed to do this; that; don't do this; don't do that; etc…… Kinda like a mom would've done to one of her own kids. I'd planned to contact my physician come Monday. Kay wouldn't hear of that & insisted I "track him down" right then & there & start treatment ASAP. I did & am forever grateful for her "mothering" me during that 6-8 week episode. We were neighbors & friends before my episode. From then on, we were much more than just friends. Dave Taylor

  20. We are very saddened to hear of the loss of a dear friend, a great mother and grandmother. Kay was so blessed with a wonderful family, and we pray for her loved ones for their loss. Kay was always so full with joy and laughter, and for that we will greatly miss her. I know in heaven she will be blessed with her family, health, and happiness. May God Bless you all with strength, joy, and memories of a lifetime.

  29. Dear Dent Family, I worked at the bookstore when I was going to college. I very much admired Kay for trying her best to keep the store running. The grace and kindness she showed to us was always appreciated. She would always bring in a smile or some laughter into the store, and could make even the worst of times fun. It was a honor.

  30. Dent family, Jim and I would like to express our heart felt sympothy at the loss your beloved Mother. We were shocked and saddened to hear of her death. Our prayers and thoughts go with you. The Dent family has a special place in our hearts.

  31. I LOVE YOU ALL with ALL my heart. I will never forget that your mom and dad would simply add one more pot pie or open another can of soup for unexpected guests such as myself. They taught many of us the true meaning (and ministry) of hospitality; by example!!! Your parents saw true potential in people and did not hesitate to give constructive criticism when needed, but not to deflate, to elevate!!!!!!!!!!! Peggy, I am eternally grateful for your friendship and I will always have a special place in my heart for you!!You were a great kid and you are a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, and a friend now!!I don't think I've met anyone to rival you, ever!!You are simply the best!!!! I cannot wait to see you again!!! Your friend, Debby

  32. To the Dent family all of you, I am so sorry to hear that your mother whom I considered to be my mom also, has passed on to be with our Lord and Savior in Heaven, where we will all meet up someday. I have many fond memories of times spent with all of you during our childhood. Just remember that you are in my prayers.
