Ken Lawrence

September 15, 1939 ~ January 14, 2023

          Ken Lawrence, 83, of Desloge, passed away January 14, 2023.  He was born September 15, 1939, in Reform, Missouri, to the late Floyd and Reba (Perry) Lawrence.  Ken enjoyed tending to his yard and garden and cherished every moment with his family and friends.  Ken worked as a meat cutter at Kroger, for 43 years, before his retirement. 

He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles Lawrence and wife Naomi, James Lawrence and wife Betty, John Lawrence and wife Marcella, Elmer Lawrence, Norman Lawrence and wife Connie.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda (Walker) Lawrence; sons, Kent Lawrence, Darren Lawrence and Jeff Lawrence, Sr.; daughters, Lisa (Stricklin) Lively and Renee (Stricklin) Krolikowski and husband David; grandchildren, Jeffery Lawrence, Jr., Jacob Lawrence, Kirsten Lawrence and Gabriel Krolikowski; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Smith; one brother, Curtis Lawrence and wife Lucille.

A memorial service for Ken will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.

  1. I was so very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda and all your family. Ken was always so pleasant and friendly to me when we all worked at Kroger together. God has gained another Angel. Fly high Ken. I know you're dancing in the sky with all your family and friends that met you at the Golden Gate. God bless you all.

  2. Linda, Kent, Darren and Jeff we are so sad to hear of uncle Ken’s passing! As a kid I always had fun when we were together. He will be greatly missed by all but now that he is no longer in pain. Our thoughts and prayers are for you. I know Grandma and grandpa Lawrence have welcomed him home as well as his brothers.
