Kenneth “Kenny” White, age 62, of Desloge, passed away January 30, 2021, at his residence. He was born August 23, 1958, in Illinois, to Victor White and Myrtle (Pierce) Conway.
Kenny attended the Victory Worship Center in Bonne Terre. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to fish, deer hunt and collect guns, but most of all he loved his family dearly. He worked as a correctional officer at Potosi Correction Center for twelve years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor White; daughter, Ami Melton; granddaughter, Lauran Herrington and a sister Debbie White.
Kenny is survived by his fiancé, Cherril Patterson; mother; Myrtle (Bob) Conway; step-mom, Carmel White; children, Karla (Josh) Herrington, Amanda (Greg) Stegall; Daemon White; step children, Sarah (Shawn) Maurer and Megan Collins; thirteen grandchildren, Cyrus Yount, Athan Melton, Jacey Mendenhall, Avery Cain, Dylan Herrington, Eliza Cain, Max Herrington, Sawyer Stegall, Brandon Maurer, Brittany Maurer, Alyssa, Leanna and Liam, Sherman; siblings, Sandy (Eddie) Wilson, Bobbie (Gary) Davis, Robin (Gary) Mester, Roberta (Terry) Ludwig, Brenda (Lanny) Skaggs, Diana (Dwayne) Johnson along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00 PM until service time of 1:00 PM with Brother Dan Woodruff officiating. C. Z.
