Larry Lee Ayers

September 14, 1943 ~ April 14, 2022

Larry Lee Ayers, 78, of Farmington passed away April 14, 2022 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born September 14, 1943 in Farmington to the late Shelby Edward and Frances “Nadine” (Johnson) Ayers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Leslia (Mecey) Ayers; grandson, Noah Pogue. Larry was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeLassus.

Larry is survived by his children, Robin (Hernan) Borrajo, Mark Ayers, and Larry Glen (Tisa) Ayers; daughter-in-law, Mary Ayers; eleven grandchildren, Brayden Ayers, Lacey (Corey) Gray, Maddie (Garrett) Duncan, Luke Pogue, Ali (Josh) Keller, Jacob Pogue, Andrew Parker, Eli Pogue, Gabe Ayers, Olivia Ayers, Isaiah Ayers; four great-grandchildren, Lainey Gray, Hadleigh, Everly, and Wrenn Keller; one brother, Kerry (Jackie) Ayers.

Visitation will be at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Tuesday April 19, 2022, from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ben Durbin officiating. Interment will be 10 am on Wednesday at Hillview Memorial Gardens.

  1. I think I was closer to your Dad when he was our patient he talked more to me there than he ever did at the House! Lol.  He was a man of few words but a hard working kind man.  I’m so sorry to hear of his passing but I know your Mom, Shelby, and Nadine are welcoming him home.  I know he missed your mom so so much.  Keeping you all in my Prayers.
