Leonard George SHEPARD

October 17, 1942 ~ March 3, 2010

Mr. Leonard George Shepard passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his Farmington residence at the age of 67 years, 4 months & 26 days. Leonard was born Oct. 17, 1942, in St. Louis, MO., & was the son of Leonard and Virginia 'Korth' Shepard. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 sister, Kathy Shepard & 1 granddaughter, Brianna Shepard.

Leonard served 3 years in the US Army. He loved fishing; going on cruises and spending time with his family - especially the Grandchildren. Leonard was a mail carrier and retired from the US Postal service with 31 years of service.

Survivors Include : his wife, Clara H. 'Buschmann' Shepard, of Farmington. 2 Daughters: Sheila Kemper (& S.O), Kelly Swain, of Park Hills; Elizabeth (& Justin) Coffman, of Farmington. 2 Sons: Leonard (& Vickie) Shepard, III, of Springfield, MO; Mark Shepard (& S.O), Mindy Hahn, of Chesterfield, MO. Also Surviving Are 6 Grandchildren: Erica Clark; Alicia Clark; Trenton Shepard; Lindsey Shepard; Fletcher Shepard & Trevor Coffman.

There Will Be No Visitation.

Memorial Service, Sunday, 1:00 p.m., March 14th @ at Washita Baptist Church (473 'AA' Hway, Farmington) with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating.

Interment Services Will Follow on Monday, March 15th @ Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis County, MO.
