Leora Elizabeth Horton

Leora Elizabeth Horton, 83, of Desloge, Missouri passed away July 11,2011 at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Genevieve (Valle) Bieser and her husband, Bobby Gene Horton and one sister Martha Bennett.At the time of her passing, she was survived by her son, Robert E. Horton.Also surviving are two daughters, Kathryn A., Mrs. John Gray of Traverse City, Mich,and Cynthia, Mrs. (Dr.) Peter McNally of Lone Tree, Colo.One brother, Leo Bieser of Kirkwood, one sister, Maxine Bieser of Farmington, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.A Rosary Service will be at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, followed by a joint service for her and her son, Robert E. Horton at 10:00 am at the C Z Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge.Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.Father Mark S. Ebert will officiate.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
