Leota Doris Schamp (Morris) passed away August 9th, 2011 in Mission,Texas.She was born May 11th, 1932 in Trappe Md., the first of three children to the late Howard and Amy Morris.She was preceeded in death by her life-long love John Y. Schamp and her sister Nancy.Left to cherish her memory is her brother Bill (Anna) Morris of Peach Bottom, PA and her six children; son John (Carmen) Schamp of Mackenbach, Germany, daughters Linda (Doug) LaForest of Fort Mohave, AZ, June (Richard) Gowler of Clinton, IL, Cheryl (Ernest) Falcon of Mission, TX, Nancy (Gordon) Gabaree of Las Vegas, NV and Leanne (Ron) Harris of Bonne Terre, MO.She leaves a lasting legacy which includes 13 grand children and 13 great grand children.She was a home maker for her family and faithful military wife.Talented in creating beautiful ceramic and porcelain items, she also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.She loved a good game of cards or Yahtzee.Leota will be laid to rest on August 30th at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary along with her husband John of almost 59 years.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation online at www.cff.org or by mail 6931 Arlington Rd. 2nd Floor Bethesda, MD 20814.
