Linda Jean Rogers, age 83, of Bonne Terre, passed away on February 1, 2022 at Parkland Hospital. She was born February 15,1938 in Elvins, to the late John and Edna (Chapman) Rodgers. Linda attended the Shepherd House Church in Desloge. She retired after working 30 years with AT&T as a telephone operator, and test instructor with Jefferson College. Linda loved to crochet, loop embroidery, going to parties and getting together once a month with her close classmates where they would meet for dinner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Jo Hill and brother William Rodgers, Sr.
Linda is survived by her siblings; Anna (Joe) Wagner, Marcella (Joe) Chervenak, and Asa (Debbie) Rodgers; sister in-law, Phyllis Rodgers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Memorial visitation will be held at CZ Boyer & Son Bonne Terre Chapel, Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00 am until service time of 11:00 am with Pastor Andy Petty officiating. Inurnment will follow at Hillview Memorial Garden in Farmington, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Farmington Pet Adoption Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
