Marian Umfleet

Marian L. Umfleet, 76, of Farmington passed away June 4, 2022 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. She was born February 22, 1946 in Detroit, MI. Marian worked for Parkland Health Center as a Medical Staff Coordinator for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, spending time with her family, and especially cooking for them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Shibley and one brother, Michael Shibley.

Marian is survived by her mother, Virgie (Dorris) Shibley; four children, Lisa Mengwasser and husband Tony, Jeff Umfleet and wife Tina, Donna Armenta, Denise Snow; ten grandchildren, Zach (Lauren) Thomas, Josh Thomas, Jackson and Emma Umfleet, Macey and Geoffrey Osborn, Ryan Klein, Kelsey Mengwasser, Kayla (Larry) Pratte, Kyle Mengwasser; two great-grandchildren, Katie and Olivia Pratte; one brother, Richard Shibley and wife Carol; along with many other loving family members.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM on Thursday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alan Berry officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
