Mrs. Mary F. Huitt passed away Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2009, in Farmington, at the age of 69 years, 2 months & 1 day. Mary was born on June 15, 1940, in St. Louis, and was the daughter of George Henry Huelsmann and Lucille Mary 'Portell' Huelsmann Strickland.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Farmington.

Survivors Include: 3 Daughters - Gina 'Mrs. Matthew' Kearns, of Farmington; Lisa 'Mrs. Jeffrey' Hahl, of Festus, MO., & Theresa 'Mrs. Matthew' Bailey, of Farmington. 1 Son: Andy (& Sherry) Huitt, of Farmington. 1 Brother: George (& Eileen) Huelsmann, of St. Louis. Also surviving are 10 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation : Wednesday, 5-8 p.m.

Funeral Mass : Thursday - 1:30 p.m. - Aug. 20th

at : St. Joseph Catholic Church, Farmington, with Fr. James Dyer officiating.

Interment : New Calvary Cemetery, Farmington.

  1. Mary was a very special person. She took care of everyone she cared about. I watched her take care of patients that others didn't bother with but Mary took them under her wing. Mary is a true angel while she was with us and now that she has earned her wings. I will truely miss her smile and the wit.   12. I am so sorry to hear about Mary Frances passing away. I went to nursing school with her and have many wonderful memories of her. She had such a great sense of humor and absolutely loved her family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this very difficult time.
