Mike Jones age, 68 of Bonne Terre, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born Thursday, September 23, 1954, in El Paso, TX to the late Anthony and Gertrude (Kleinhenze) Jones.

Mike served his country in the United States Air Force. He proudly retired from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Mike received many awards and commendations with the Air Force including aircraft fuel specialist, federal employee, IT computer repair, and project management. He was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre. He loved his family and especially all of his grandchildren. He enjoyed vacationing, taking cruises, going camping, and watching TV. He loved living on Lac Marseille and sitting out on his deck enjoying the view. Mike will be dearly missed by his fur-baby, Branson, and all who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Evans) Jones; sons, Steven A Jones, Nicholas Michael (Bryanna) Jones, Tim Abotobik; daughter, Erica (CJ) Rawson; grandchildren, Lorelei, Zoey, Morgan, Matt, Brittany (Tyler), Timmy (Kaitlyn), Tristen, Bradley, and Asher; great-grandchild, Paisley; siblings, Klaus (Heidi) Jones, Arthur (Roberta) Jones, and Mary Klein.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 14, 2023, from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 9:00 AM until funeral service time of 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Alan David officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Fisher House Foundation, in honor of Mike. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
