Mrs. Mildred Alice 'Evans' VanSickles passed away June 7, 2006, at her daughter Peggy's house in rural Farmington, at the age of 86 years, 9 months & 1 day. Mildred was born Aug. 28, 1919, in Flat River, & was the daughter of Howard & Mary Alice 'Taylor' Evans. Also preceding were: her husband, Joseph Woodrow VanSickles (1995); 1 Daughter, Vicky Lynn VanSickles (in-infancy); 2 Sisters: Freda Sugerman & Lucille Racer; 3 Brothers: Perry; Adolph & Leeman Evans. 1 Step, Great-Grandson, Keith Thornton & 1 Great-Granddaughter, Marissa Cockrell.
Survivors Include: 1 Daughter, Peggy 'Mrs. Gerald' Durham, of Farmington; 2 Sisters: Ila Setzer, of Granite City, IL & Hilda 'Mrs. Cletus' Nichols, of Viburnum, MO; A Niece raised in the home: Lynnette 'Mrs. Larry' Lodge, of Grandview, Mo; 4 Grandchildren: Denise 'Mrs. Jerry' Bryant; Kevin Black; Melissa 'Mrs. Pat' Blyze; Douglas Black. 3 Step-Grandchildren: Tammy 'Mrs. Mike' Krusz; Renee 'Mrs. Joe' Buckland & Jeffrey Durham. 11 Great-Grandchildren: 12 Step, Great-Grandchildren; 2 Step, Great, Great-Grandchildren. Special Friends: Dr. Raul & Maureen Borrego & family. Also, HospiceCare, Inc., friends.
Visitation: Saturday, 5-9 pm. Visitation resumes Sunday, 7:00 a.m.
Funeral: Sunday, 2:00 p.m., June 11, 2006
at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Ronnie Payne & Rev. Bob Webb officiating.
Interment: Three Rivers Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve County, MO.

Mildred was my Great Aunt. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
Mildred was my Dad's 1st cousin. My prayers are with the family and especially Peggy at this time of loss. Mildred is now home with our FATHER and will be waiting with the rest of our family for our final gathering. God bless and keep you one and all.
