Nellie May (Bryant) Franceschini, 88, of Lake Timberline passed away December 26, 2010 at St. Joe Manor. She was born September 2, 1922 in Arthur County, (Sand Hills), Nebraska. Nellies father died when she was two years old and her mother moved the family to Venice, Illinois where she attended Venice Public Schools Graduating in 1940.On November 7, 1942 she married William Francesshini from Chicago, Illinois. They had one Son, Terry Bryant Franceschini.Nellie and Bill moved to Lake Timberline Lake Development in 1970 where she built their home. In 1977 she started the Dogwood Chapel and played the organ there. She also played the organ at St. Joe Manor. She served as President of the Venice American Legion Ladies Aux. President of the Tri-City- Girl Scout Council and was their Establish Camp Director. A Missouri State Licensed Beautician and an Illinois Certifies Nurse-Aide.Nellie loved working outside in her yard and the woods around her home. Music and her dogs kept her busy.She was proceeded in death by her husband William; Parents, Maurice S. and Zella May (Shepherd) Bryant; Four Brothers, Wilbur, Harold, Maurice, and Glenn and one Grandson.She is survived by her son, Terry of Oveido, Fl., Four Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren. It was Nellies wish to donate her body to Washington University to further medical science research. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
