Ora “Ted” Davis, 74 of Bonne Terre passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born Monday, February 28, 1949 in De Soto, to the late Ora Buell and Alberta (Metts) Davis. Ted was a proud member of the Community of Christ Church in Bismarck; he was also a member of the Laborers Construction Union 110. He enjoyed traveling, camping, being a state park host, fishing, but his real joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Davis; sister, Mary Tinker.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Marilyn L. (Gray) Davis; children, Heather (husband Matt) Worley and Matt Davis; grandchildren, Caleb and Theo; sister, Dorothy Becquette.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Community of Christ Church in Bismarck, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Memorial donations may be made to Outreach International 1112 West 18th Street Kansas City, MO 64108-1232.
