Paul Hedgcorth

          Paul Hedgcorth, 88, of Desloge, passed away January 25, 2023, at Country Meadows Nursing Home in Park Hills.  He was born June 16, 1934, in Leadwood, to the late George Mont and Gladys Marie (Welker) Hedgcorth, Sr.  Paul was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Park Hills.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, as well as a huge Mizzou Tiger fan, whether it be football or basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.  Paul was a very proud Navy veteran and retired from St. Joe Minerals. 

          He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lillian Williams; his twin sister, Pauline Rice; and brother, George Mont Hedgcorth, Jr.

          Paul was survived by his wife of 66 years, Marlene (Grandstrand) Hedgcorth; children,  Steve Hedgcorth and wife Maggie, Scott Hedgcorth and wife Susan, Lisa Major and husband Walter; grandchildren, Kristin (Andrew) Guthrie, Brittany Hedgcorth, Megan Hedgcorth,  Daniel (Leslie) Eaton, Molly (Seth) Meyer and Michael (Fiancé, Magdalene Momont) Eaton; seven great-grandchildren, Spencer, Lydia, Lillian, Scarlett, Ella, Evan and Macy; several nieces and nephews also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume Monday, January 30, 2023, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.  Pastor David Schmitt will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.  Memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Park Hills, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
