Pete was always upbeat and full of life. He always went out of his way to speak to me and I always appreciate his conversations. I’ll never forget the friendship and kindness that Pete showed toward our aging friend, Tom Moon. Pete would visit Tom and take him to breakfast and lunch on a regular basis. That’s just the kind of person Pete was.

He will be truly missed and my heart goes out to you and your entire family.

  13. Candle 8I know this is SO late, but I just want you to know that your Pete and Joy were both the kinds of people who left such a beautiful and lasting impression on all of us. It’s really hard to stop thinking about them and their light-up-the-room smiles and their dazzling personalities. Tracy, it was really cathartic to get to chat and hug with you. I know that you and Carmen and all of your family are experiencing SO much grief but; hopefully, the outpouring of love will help you. I hope you can feel everyone’s love, hugs, and prayers and that will help you to move forward. Love and Blessings.

  14. Candle 7To all the family & friends who loved Pete, my sincere condolences. To you Pete — So many great memories we shared… countless hours playing pool in your basement, you driving through a blizzard to Colorado w/ Ryan Pirtle to visit me & go skiing, sharing a dorm room @ Central Missouri…. And then there was the State Track Meet, May 29, 1992, your Junior year, when you blistered the anchor leg, bringing home the North County High School 3200m Relay school record, in addition to All-State honors. Doug Thurston, David Williams, I thank you for your courage & tenacity. 🙂 I’ll treasure the memories always my friend. May God reward you Pete, for all your kindness, compassion, & dedication. With all my love & prayers. Your brother in Christ Jesus, nate
