Mr. Ralph Harold Fechter passed away Tuesday evening, February 11, 2003, at his Goose Creek residence at the age of 66 years & 10 months. Ralph was born on April 11, 1936, in Hartley, Iowa, to Fred & Martha 'Bendlin' Fechter. Ralph was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church of Farmington & a Volunteer Fireman with the Goose Creek Fire Department. He was also a US Marines Corps Veteran. SURVIVORS INCLUDE - His WIFE : Iva Deloris 'Hallam' Fechter, of Goose Creek; 2 DAUGHTERS: Brenda Baldwin, of Powder Springs, GA; Nancy 'Mrs. Brad' Rider, of Cahokia, IL. 1 SON: Doug (& Lori) Fechter, of Festus, MO; 1 SISTER: Norma (Mrs. Tom) Redfern, of Streator, IL; 1 BROTHER: Art (& Mary) Fechter, of Streator, IL; Also surviving are 13 Grandchildren & 1 Great-Granddaughter. Visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m., resuming Saturday, 7 am, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL & funeral Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, 10 am, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Farmington, with Rev. Dino Pacilli & Rev. James King officiating. Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: The American Cancer Society &/or The Goose Creek Fire Department.
